libappstreamqt-dev software package provides Qt4 library to access AppStream services (development files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libappstreamqt-dev
libappstreamqt-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libappstreamqt-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libappstreamqt-dev *
You will get with libappstreamqt-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
